This table displays the ArcWeb icons you can use in your maps. For SOAP, add icons through the object MarkerDesc. For OpenLS, add icons through the StyleContent iconSource property. For REST, add supported raster icons through the parameters in Acetate Point.
You can use your own icons in your maps by uploading GIF or JPG images through the ArcWeb site. To start the upload process, click the Build tab and choose Upload Marker. See Uploading symbols for more information. These custom markers are stored in the data source ArcWeb:User.Defined.Icons and are only available for your own use.
You can change the color of these simple icons through the SOAP MarkerDesc:color parameter or the OpenLS StyleContent color property. Simple icons are not valid for REST mapping.
