Map Image Web Service v2006

Map Image Web Service offers dynamic map content for your Internet applications. With this service, you input various options (such as data source, size of image, map annotation) and receive the URL location of an output image file. You can also merge map images and save maps for later use.

Map Image Web Service accesses data from several leading data publishers. See Service Finder for a list of the available services you can use to create map images.

Map Image Web Service offers the following capabilities:

NOTE: HTTPS is available if you need added security to call ArcWeb services. Authentication Web Service and other ArcWeb services must be accessed with the same IP address for the authentication token to be valid.
