You can upload and store custom points, lines, and polygons and associated attribute information with Data Manager Web Service. You can then use this data in custom map and spatial query data sources. Data Manager Web Service is available through a SOAP interface and through the ArcWeb site (Build tab). The ArcWeb site allows you to upload DBF and SHP files containing your data. You must have an active ArcWeb account to access the Build tab. See Getting started with ArcWeb Services for more information on activating your account.

NOTE: HTTPS is available if you need added security to call ArcWeb services. Authentication Web Service and other ArcWeb services must be accessed with the same IP address for the authentication token to be valid.
