Content Finder Web Service v2006

You can use Content Finder Web Service to search the metadata information for available content in the ArcWeb system. The service searches the metadata for data files, layers, and data sources. You can also use Content Finder Web Service to see various relationships and dependencies between data files, layers, and data sources. Content Finder Web Service is available through a SOAP interface and through the ArcWeb site (Build tab). You must have an active ArcWeb account to access the Build tab on the ArcWeb site. See Getting started with ArcWeb Services for more information on activating your account.

Content Finder Web Service allows you to perform the following functions:

NOTE: HTTPS is available if you need added security to call ArcWeb services. Authentication Web Service and other ArcWeb services must be accessed with the same IP address for the authentication token to be valid.
