Updating your REST v2006 applications to v2006.1

To update your ArcWeb Services REST v2006 applications to work with the latest version of REST, you need to change your URLs. If you use UserID for authentication, you also need a new UserID:

Change your URLs from v2006 to v2006_1. For example:
http://www.arcwebservices.com/services/v2006_1/restmap?actn=getMap&<&tkn=ArcWeb Token OR &usrid=ArcWeb usrid>&ds=ArcWeb:TA.Streets.NA&c=-117.1817|34.0556&sf=52500
If you are using UserID for authentication, you need to get a new UserID for REST v2006.1. You can use REST v2006 tokens in REST v2006.1, but REST v2006 userIDs do not work in REST v2006.1. See Using getUserID for details on how to get userIDs for REST v2006.1.
NOTE: REST v2006.1 tokens and userIDs are not supported in REST v2006.
