ArcWeb Explorer JavaScript Flash variables
Use the following parameters for the insertMap
Flash vars variable:
- c: latitude|longitude —
For example, c:"-117|34".
- sf: scale
factor
- ds: data
source —
This parameter can take more than one value; use a list of pipe (|) delimited
values. The default is .
View a list of valid data sources for each groupLayer.
- glt:
group layers —
This parameter can take more than one value; use a list of pipe (|) delimited
values. This value corresponds to what is set in the ds parameter. View
a list of valid data sources for each groupLayer.
The default is .
NOTE: The addGroupLayer()
method allows you to add group layers and specify their properties. To
utilize this functionality, specify glt as "none".
- wmode:
transparency (optional) —
This parameter is set to “false” by default. It must be set to "true"
to use transparency for DHTML overlays. Note that setting this parameter
to “true” disables the mouse-wheel zoom functionality in the Mozilla Firefox
Web browser.
- showHeader:
header —
When set to "true", includes a header with buttons to hide widgets,
print, share, and links to help and the developer API.
- showWidgetBar:
widget bar —
When set to "true", includes a menu bar for displaying the various
widgets.
- showMenu:
menu —
When set to "true", enables the right-click menu on the map.
- jsFaultHandler: global error handling — When enabled,
allows you to customize error handling in your ArcWeb Explorer application.
By default, end users see all error messages. View the Quick-Start

for a list of error messages.
- jsCreationComplete:
creation complete —
This parameter permits you to rename the function called when the map
is complete. The default is onCreationComplete.
NOTE: If ds
and glt are not set, a default "best available map" ()
is generated.
